Support

Last updated 10 September 2026

One address for everything — bugs, purchases, privacy requests, accessibility problems, or a board that looks wrong: support@raylight-voyagertracking.com.

Who answers. Octant is made by one person. Every message is read and answered by a human, but not by a support team, and not at three in the morning. Most messages get a reply within a few days. If a week goes by with nothing, send it again — the mail was probably lost, not ignored.

What to put in the message

The app keeps no logs and sends us nothing, so the only information we will ever have about a problem is what you write down. The more of this you can include, the better the odds of a real answer instead of three rounds of questions:

Purchases, refunds and subscriptions

Apple and Google are the sellers for anything bought inside the app, which means some of this is genuinely out of our hands.

Privacy requests

Same address. Say what you want — access, correction, deletion, a copy, or just an answer to “what do you have on me”.

The honest answer is usually “nothing”. There are no accounts and the app sends us nothing, so unless you have bought something there is no record of you anywhere in our systems. If you have bought something, the record is keyed to an anonymous ID, and the way to let us find it is to include your store receipt or order ID.

If you want to delete what is on your own device, you do not need us at all — the steps for every platform are in Privacy §15.

Accessibility

If something in the app is hard or impossible to use — contrast, tap targets, a screen reader losing its place, motion that makes you unwell — tell us what did not work and on what device. This is worth reporting even if it feels small. It is the category of bug most likely to get fixed quickly, because the fixes are usually small.

Security

If you think you have found a security or privacy problem, write to the same address with “security” in the subject line and enough detail to reproduce it. We will confirm we got it, fix what needs fixing, and tell you what happened. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before publishing it.
